| 10 mountainbike circuits van
10 tot 58 km zijn bewegwijzerd in de omgeving van Mende.
Deze circuits worden jaarlijks onderhouden om uw veiligheid
te waarborgen.De route beschrijvingen van ieder circuit

| It exist in Mende a new concept of VTT Park, respecting environment. |

Cet espace de découverte situé en plein cœur de la forêt du Causse de Mende est accessible à tous pour des sessions de VTT en sous-bois.
Le but est de faire découvrir aux petits comme aux grands la pratique du VTT et de permettre à ceux qui avaient mis de côté leur vélo de s'y remettre doucement, d'une manière ludique (parcours VTT et Trial, avec modules adaptés au niveau de chacun).
Tout a été conçu pour ne pas dénaturer le site et l'ambiance qui y règnent :
- Les modules ont été exclusivement fabriqués en bois avec pour moitié des éléments récupérés sur place.
- Sa conception a été pensée pour conserver le profil du terrain sans avoir besoin de terrassement.
- Aucune suppression d'arbres pour sa réalisation. L'entretien s'effectuera manuellement.
Trois espaces distincts composent ce parc :
1. espace réservé aux enfants de moins de 5 ans (surface de 175m²).
2. un parcours réservé aux enfants de 5 à 8 ans (longueur de 272m, le parcours intègre 1 module, 2 ateliers et 3 obstacles naturels).
3. un parcours accessible aux personnes de plus de 8 ans (longueur 1050 m avec 2 modules, deux ateliers, une passerelle, et 8 obstacles naturels).
Les modules et les ateliers sont essentiellement réalisés en pin traité de catégorie IV sans chrome ni arsenic, assemblage par vissage uniquement, pas de sellage béton. |

des 2 roues.

is the natural reservoir of drinking water of Mende and
swimming is forbidden.
The beauty of the landscape makes forest hiking ideal
(marked out footpath around the lake: 8km- 5 miles / 3
hours). |

Tarn: Thanks to its waters' calmness, this river lends
itself to swimming (except when the river is in spate).
However, suggest the ones who do not know swimming and
parents to act prudently and to go to supervised bath
